The BC NDP government just tabled legislation – the first real improvements for working people in decades!

We need your help to make it pass!

New labour laws will make it easier for workers to get justice for workplace issues like wage theft and enact tougher laws to protect children and youth from dangerous jobs. Using contract flips to drive down wages and benefits in healthcare, custodial, food services and other sectors is banned!  Workers will be better protected from employer intimidation when they seek to form a union.

The new labour legislation is good for working people, but with an NDP minority government, we need to make sure it passes. The BC Liberals will attack – they cut workers rights and slashed enforcement in 2003.

Every vote will count! We need to ensure that the NDP and Green MLAs support this legislation.
